How white supremacy began and how it thrives today…
I am still trying to figure out how there are devout black Christians and they get mad when you call the bs inside their “faith”.
The illusion is strong in the fabric of their identities. They’re still stuck in that spiritual Matrix
It’s so important for us to really look deeply at our faith. I really questioned religion when I realized that it had been poured onto us & we were taught to soak it up just like a sponge, along with all the other things that were necessary for assimilation. I really wonder what kinds of beliefs African ancestors had before they were submerged into the ones common here in America.
Idk. I just think that Christianity was where many Africans found hope when they struggled here in America, which is good. But on the other hand, I feel like we started to accept Christianity because slave owners altered the Bible a bit, threatened us with it & used it to keep us in line, & we just accepted it because we thought if we followed the rules of religion, we’d have a better life & the slave owners would lay off a bit.
